Q & A

Can we build a space ship?
It has been done already. By private companies.

What about a flying saucer?
It is not a novel idea; many have dreamt it and some even acquired patents. We are not creating anything new. We simply have a great concept. Therefore, we must give it a try. Many of our inventions that were stolen became great successes all over the world! This project will definitely work.

What makes you so sure?
Early pioneers have made commendable attempts at conceiving a working flying saucer. Now, we have new technological principles available to us. We also benefit from great technological advancements. All these have been occurring within the last century. Hence, we are pretty sure that we can build one.

When you say WE. What do you mean?
It means we require a specialized team. No one can build a space ship by himself, or herself. Let alone a flying saucer, definitely not one big enough for many people. That is why we are launching this project, to gather a great team.

Why are you doing it?
It’s been a dream since childhood, but that is not the main reason. We believe that humanity should have at its disposition at all time a space ship capable of saving lives. It may even be a matter of emergency when such technology is required.

What do you mean by that?
If there is ever an invasion from outer space, it will be on a different scale from what occurs on Earth. Not one, not two but over one thousand space ships, perhaps even a million. Earth as we speak does not have a single spaceship capable of taking on possible invaders.

But we have satellites and a Mars program.
Yes! We do. The problem is: you can take on earth without risking any live at all. A superior invader can send a myriad of space drones.  They can use weapons that we can only fathom exist. They can use our electromagnetic shield to take over the entire planet in a hurry. Fighting from earth, we don’t stand a chance. Our only solution is to be able to placate such threat ahead of time, and in outer space. To do that, we require our population to remain intact in times of need. Number matters. There cannot be too many of us in times of such crisis. The more teams out there attempting to build their own space ships, the better it is for humanity as a whole. We must give ourselves the means to defend our existence, (earth and its surrounding planets) if not the Milky Way, And the sooner the better.

Isn’t it fiction? You are talking extra-terrestrial life? How can you say that?
The probability of life within and beyond the Milky Way is highly probable. That means there is a high probability of life. The important question is how advanced are they?
If I may, I will share an anecdote. When I was a kid I read something about UFOs. I asked my dad what it was. It was in 1968 and here was his answer:
“Strange people come from strange objects. When you come close to them you lose your breath, or die. Yet nobody knows how real it is.” He recalled an article that he read in 1960-62 in France. This sparked my curiosity, and that never left me. Today we have the technology to do just that. How did they know that in the sixties?

Still isn’t it preposterous to posit possible invasion?
Let’s try some fiction here. We have all heard of UFOs. Let’s posit that there is some truth to it. What are the implications?
1- If they came from close proximity stars (like the Moon or Mars) we would have noticed it by now. In other words there would have been so many of them that they could not go unnoticed.
2- They come from very far away, perhaps thousands of light years away. What are the implications?
Primo: They mastered the technology of cryogenics (hibernation and resuscitation). This was only recently discovered on earth, and is still imperfect. The implication here would be that if indeed those that reach us are scouts, then the bulk of the invasion is getting closer and closer. Nobody will travel that kind of distances in such undesirable conditions (virtual death) for pleasure alone. In other words we are facing an invasion of biblical proportion. Our only chance is that the time that it took them to reach us gave us the time to catch up. We have a chance.

Do you really believe that we can ever be attacked by extra-terrestrial life?

If they do exist, then we cannot eliminate the possibility that we’ll be attacked.

Why such a statement? They could be friendly?
The only certainty we have is that should any extra-terrestrial entity attack us from beyond the Milky Way. They will be superior to us. That is because, to travel for such amazing distances, you have to hibernate for centuries. There must be computers capable of monitoring you throughout the journey, and resuscitating you at a moment’s notice, or at appropriate time. Mastery of science and technology to achieve all that must be perfect. That takes a long time to achieve. Only a very advanced civilization can do that. To take such a risk, they must be desperate. This means that they would be ready to give it all!

It still sounds like science fiction. Isn't it?
Well! Let’s call it an extrapolation in probabilities. But let us remember one thing. That which we do not know can harm us. By being prepared we have nothing to lose.

What do you mean?
It is really simple. In order for us to protect ourselves ahead of time we must posit the impossible. It helps tremendously if it is based on reality. What is reality to us?  For one, we exist. We also know that the universe is huge. And it abhors vacuum (emptiness). That is why everything in the universe is filled either with matter or energy. The probability of extra-terrestrial life is positive, just because the universe likes that which works. We have been around for quite a while, although is it insignificant in comparison to how long the universe has existed. Nevertheless, as the embodiment of life, the human race is a success. To me this pretty much ascertains another form of life out there.

So how do you plan to build the ship?
It can be done by putting the greatest minds together. We must have a dream team of cross-disciplinary individuals. This includes artists as well, for what is civilization without art, and people of talent regardless of race, nationality, gender or class. That is our first goal. We are aiming for a Noah Ark Venture!

How can you even dream of it?
That is because we know the potential of humanity. We have lived for decades across seven continents, meeting great people all the time. We know that they are out there. We know that we can reach them and work with them.  We are looking for these minds that can build the ship if given the opportunity. In fact twenty years ago when I first mentioned this possibility, a computer genius volunteered. But I was not ready for it at the time. Now I am.
To develop a space ship technology that stands ready to save the world at a moment notice. This is possible now.

You mean a flying saucer?
Yes! It is really not so hard given available technology. It is a matter of having the right people in the right frame of mind. Again there should be many teams out there. The more the merrier I would say.

What about money?
Money does not build anything. People do. Despite that, we recognize the fact that money does matters, and we respect that. That is why we are launching this crowdfunding campaign. We need money to secure a location and gather the right team. Every participant is immediately entered into a list of future explorers.

Is this project for rich people only? What about the poor?
Aren’t they humans too? The cycle of life and death tells us that the universe does not discriminate. It is a human thing; it is what makes us unique. It is perhaps reminiscent of the Stone Age. Who knows? The reality is that should we ever face extra-terrestrial challenges, we would require all of us to unite under one cause. An entity that will travel for centuries will be a desperate one. This means an entire civilization ready to take over the planet for themselves. To them, wealth is not important, not race, gender, or class. We can face such terror only as a United Human Civilization.

What if they are friends?
Despair has no friends. Do we care about animals when we take over forests to build our cities? Why would they care about us? We must be united to build these space ships. It might be a matter of global security. In fact we should consider it as such. That is our best defense.

What if they are good ET’s?
It is a possibility, but a minute one. Good and bad exists anywhere in the universe. That is a universal law. But a desperate civilization with nowhere else to go but earth knows only one good which is to save themselves. That is bad for us. So why take the risk? We should be proactive.

So what can we do?
We can be prepared ahead of time. Referencing Pascal’s great bet on the subject, he said: “Let us bet that God exists so that we can secure our place in paradise.” We say let us bet that extra-terrestrial life exists so that we can defend ourselves in case they ever attack us. This can only be done as a United Human Civilization. It is Earth that we will be defending, from a possible enemy that is overwhelmingly powerful and can attack us any place, anywhere, at any time, without warning.  Considering what we know about new technology there are myriads of ways to do this. Even the invisibility cloak has been created. So imagine what a very advanced civilization can do! Now is the time. We must build our ship with immediate effect!

When continental voyages were first attempted people did not believed that life existed beyond the Atlantic sea.
When Galileo made his claim about earth turning around the sun he was called a heretic.

We now believe that humanity is exposed to serious threats from deep space.
We know that because we better understand the universe and we have valid data to back it.
We cannot afford to wait any longer. This is a matter of survival for the planet.
We must build our ship now. And then build even more. For each continent, each state, each nation, each city.
